2008 Balboa Bay Volleyball Club
14 and younger Club Season By teaching the basic fundamentals in combination with team interaction, the goal is to develop each individual’s skills and give a sound basis to allow for success in the game of volleyball. Our years of high level success in the junior volleyball arena are a product of this philosophy.
12 & Under, 13 & Under and 14 & Under:
All boys in grades 5th - 8th with interest in Club experience or in learning the game of volleyball. Players of all ability levels are welcome. We will provide teams that will allow for playing time for all players yet remain very competitive in their respective age groups.
· 1st Practice: Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 from 11:00am to 1:15pm at Corona del Mar High School gym
Practices will be held twice a week throughout the season generally on the weekend Saturday in the late afternoon and on Sundays from 11am-1:30pm at CdM H.S. Tournament play starts January 13th and we will have a tournament about every third week until early June. Tournaments are generally held in the Orange County area. We believe strongly that playing other sports is very important in a young person’s growth, both athletically and socially. We will work with players and their families to the best of our ability regarding scheduling conflicts with other activities. You may register and pay online now. Paperwork and Registration will be available at each practice. If you are filling out paperwork for the first time, please arrive 15 minutes early.
